Completing this application does not guarantee membership; applications are reviewed by the Founding Committee. Founding members contribute a minimum of K50,000 toward financing orders (cash or product of equivalent value), and verify their identity with a photo ID and a selfie. 5 · Financial capacity

Founding members help finance export orders. Please tell us how you can contribute.

The founding-member contribution

  • Contribute a minimum of K50,000 toward financing an export order, or
  • Provide product of equivalent or greater value (worth K50,000 or more).

Your contribution is working capital — it goes into a revolving fund the cooperative uses to finance export orders. It is not shares, securities or an investment product; any surplus shared with members is governed by the cooperative's bylaws.

Frequently asked

Who can apply?
Committed farmers and agribusiness professionals who can contribute to building an export-focused cooperative and meet the K50,000 minimum contribution.
What does the cooperative export?
High-value Zambian crops and foods for the UAE and European markets — for example honey, ginger, goats, sweet potatoes and beans, among others. The exact product mix grows with our founding members and buyer demand.
What is the K50,000 for, and what do I get as a founding member?
It's working capital — not an investment for a payout or shares in a company. Your K50,000 goes into a revolving fund the cooperative uses to finance export orders. As a founding member you get a founding role: a voice and a vote in how the cooperative is run, membership in it, and access to its export channel and markets for your produce. Members share in any surplus in accordance with the cooperative's bylaws. You review and accept the membership terms and make your contribution when you're accepted as a full member — not when you apply.
Why do you need my ID and a selfie?
To verify that every founding member is who they say they are. Your ID and selfie are used only for verification and kept confidential.
Does applying guarantee membership?
No. All applications are reviewed by the Founding Committee, and successful applicants will be contacted directly.
